Elegant task management application

If you have a busy work schedule with meetings, assignments and deadlines constantly converging, you need to manage your time.

There are many major options on the Mac such as Entourage and iCal, and The Hit List is an attempt to gatecrash the market. The Hit List looks and feels very elegant presenting with you what looks like a page from a diary or schedule. You can enter a task simply by hitting enter and typing. All other commands, such as "Task Complete" and "Edit" are listed as keyboard shortcuts along the bottom of the interface. This makes adding tasks extremely quick. You can also open multiple tasks in different tabs if you're working on more than one thing at a time.

For those on the move with an iPhone, you can sync The Hit List with it although this is where the mobile features end. One of the big downsides of The Hit List for many users is the fact that, without an iPhone, you won't be able to access your schedule from any computer wherever you are. When you consider that there are other free options out there that do so, then the appeal of The Hit List looks limited.

The Hit List looks and feels good as a task management application but many may be put of by the fact that it can't be accessed anywhere and the cost of upgrading.

The Hit List. The Hit List is a great little app. It works well for organizing projects and tasks. It is intuitive and well suited for anyone who uses a "GTD" organization structure, although "GTD" is not necessary. Overall its a great app. Its clean and easy to use. Pros: Great lookEasy useCustomizable to fit your needs Cons: No native iPhone appNo sync with online services like Toodledo or Remember the MilkiCal syncing is a little weak

Better than Things, OmniFocus, TaskPaper etc.... Hi, I use THL since almost 3 months and was lucky to have it bought via the latest MacHeist III Bundle. The app is really the best taskmanager I have tested yet on Mac OSX. Simple, nice looking, efficient ...Even if you're not familiar with GTD, THL is just perfect for getting involved with the basic concept. It just helps you to collect all you plans, ideas, tasks etc. very easy. Next step you just sort and organize all these things by putting them in lists, tagging them with tags & contexts, syncing them with your icalendar and just doing (or processing) them whenever you want. It's still a beta, but an incredibly solid piece of software.BerliBoy

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
